Aisling Bea

Aisling is an Irish-born comedian that has been in the business for quite a while. She was born in Kildare, Ireland on 16th March 1984. Bea has appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Claiodhnadh or Aisling "Bea", is a famous Irish writer and actor. Her birth date was March 16, 1984. Bea started her professional career in stand-up comedy in 2011, after playing a few small roles that she acted for Irish and British television dramas starting in 2009. The comedian began to appear often on sketch comedy and sitcoms from 2012. After she won an award at Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) and began to be featured regularly in various panel programs. In 2016 and 2017, she served as a team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. Also, she is participant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents were Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister who is named Sinead. In 2012, she was the only woman in history to receive the So You Think you're Funny award. Her surname honors the memory of her late father. Aisling Claiodhnadh Sullivan was born 16 March 1984 in Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian is an equine veterinarian who committed suicide when she was just three. Bea didn't learn how her father passed away until she turned thirteen. She adopted the stage name Bea as a tribute to her father and wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about her family's experience of suicide. Bea was fostered by her sister Sinead with Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary instructor, trainer of jockeys, and former professional racer. Her family were obsessed with horses and race meetings. Bea was a child a tour guide for the Irish National Stud. From the age of a child, Bea knew that she did not want to pursue a racing career. Instead she loved the artistic arts.
